The Lord’s Prayer As A Basis For Intercession

[Each phrase is synchronised with slow in-and-out breathing]

O Thou, Eternal One, Father/Mother, Creative Spirit, Divine Word, Our Source, Our Essence, Our Lord, Our God. [Repeat until focused, beyond words]

We make this time and space to hallow Your Name, your Sound, all that You are in the glory of Your Being, embodied for us in Jesus our Lord. Let your sound vibrate our chords until our whole being resonates with You. [Repeat]

Come-come! Reign of God upon earth, let my desire echo Your Heart. [Repeat until desire is focused, effortless, in self-giving, joy and gratitude]

Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth, in every part of life.

Sustain us Lord, with daily lachma [bread or meaning]; that is, daily bread for the body; meaning to fire the soul, for the doing of Your will.

Forgive our failings and sins, as we forgive all who have failed or hurt us.

Let nothing tempt or distract from this fullness of life in you.

Deliver us from evil. For this purpose Christ came, and He emerged from His nonviolent resistance to evil in the Easter Event , as “Christus Victor”!

We now stand in Him, in His Name, in Providence, and let His Light dispel darkness -in all for whom we make intercession.

With this updated information, we visualise their circumstances S holding them in God’s light, and “praying the Kingdom” S

Always ending in thanksgiving, celebration, and affirmation. For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory now and forever. Amen.
