We went on retreat recently – our team.

There was a need to stand back, to reflect,

And to let our individual reflections kindle

intuition and discernment in each other.

It was a powerful exercise in team building, too,

For each knew that we together knew,

that we were on the same road – in step.

I need to do that with you, Lord, and frequently.

You must choose the road, and the pace,

Because I tend to walk too fast, and am impulsive,

But when the time for action comes,

I need the example of your firm strides.

I need to retreat with other members of your family, too,

To share our understanding, intuition and discernment,

For when two or more of us are gathered in your name,

Here you are with us. [1]

Thank you for giving me brothers and sisters, Lord.

Weld us together in to a powerful team for you,

On the same road,

In step.
