My superannuation has been growing for 20 years,

With contributions by me and my employer.

And it will grow a bit more before I retire.

It’s a privilege for which I thank you.

Many people don’t have this resource.

When the time comes, help me to invest it wisely.

I want to maintain a lifestyle of being able to support your work,

To use our home for hospitality,

To be able make discrete gifts.

In your name.

There’s another superannuation fund quietly growing

But I’m not sure that this is to fund eternal rest,

Rather, I see it as a loan for a new period of activity.

As you teach me now, Lord, how to be your servant,

I look forward with great joy to a new role with you in eternity.
