Disturbing news has just been received that St Anthony’s (Coptic) Monastery in the Red Sea has been attacked by Egyptian police..

Police have been physically attacking the monks.

Please pray on behalf of our brave monks at St Anthony’s monastery who are willing to die to defend the walls of the monastery..

The Egyptian Police have arrested 3 monks as well.

His Grace Bishop Yostos has requested your prayers in this trajic situation where there is reports of over 200 police attacking the monastery and the police.

Please pray for peace in our beloved homeland Egypt.
