Christians are concerned for their future, despite the sentencing of Islamic radicals. Indonesia (MNN) — terrorism was dealt a blow with the sentencing of two Islamic radicals, but Christians are still concerned in Indonesia. AMG International’s Paul Jenks says President Megawati Sukarnoputri’s government appears ready to crack down on violence, but that’s little consolation because there are many who want Islamic law to rule that country. Evangelistic efforts move forward in the United States as there’s evidence it’s becoming a POST Christian nation. USA (MNN) — Evidence is mounting that the United States has become a post-Christian nation. The most recent example was the Ten Commandments removal from public view in Alabama’s state court house. Minorities in Madagascar are close to having a portion of Scripture in the own language. Madagascar (MNN) — The people of Madagascar are close to having the Gospel of Luke available in their own language. Parke Brown with the Seed Company, says they are now holding the final workshop, which should result in the translation and publication of the JESUS Film in five languages. Revival is the focus of meetings taking place in Brazil. Brazil (MNN) — Christians around the world are being encouraged to pray for revival in a city in Brazil. American evangelist Sammy Tippit, who’s been preaching the Gospel for 35 years, is in Goiana, Brazil for a series of meetings talking about that subject.
