Nearly right. Homoiousia [Gr. homoiousion, of similar substance; contrasted with homoousion, of the same substance]. These two Greek words were the technical terms used by the parties to the Christological controversy associated with the name of Arius in the 3rd and 4th centuries.

I would have thought a Jew would believe that though God is in essence incorporeal, God has the power to be perceived/incarnated into anything/anyone God chooses (eg. to be perceived visually by Moses to a limited extent)… >

A follower of Jesus would say, of course, that Jesus is the fulfilment of the Torah. But there we would differ…

On the question of proselytizing, my sympathies are with you and Les Brown. However, wouldn’t you agree that Judaism has also been a missional religion (what was Jonah doing in Nineveh – and, more interestingly, why did he resist God’s call to be a missioner there?)
