USA population lacks Biblical world view. USA (MNN) — We begin today in the United States where the country founded on God is now a country most needing missionaries. According to Barna Research four-percent of the country’s population possesses a biblical worldview. American Missionary Fellowship[1] Ed Henderson says that’s why AMF is focused on reaching the lost through eight new learning communities. “Learning Communities will be focused on evangelism — discipleship, which is a core to the Learning Communities, which bring people into the right relationship with God. What I think we see in the research with Barna is that we have not brought people into a right relationship with God.” Henderson says unless churches change, hearts will fall further away. “We have probably 120 million people going to church every Sunday and they have a view no different from the 160 million that don’t go to church. Even in the sermons that we hear are focused on putting the Word on the bottom shelf. Aid opens doors for outreach in the CIS. International (MNN) — Next, short term workers are needed to help with outreach in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. According to statistics, Russia has fewer churches per capita than China. Because of that, a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, Canada[3] is targeting the area with Operation Care Lift. OCL’s Duane Zook. “We’re going to take a group of people there to visit orphanages, hospitals, prisons, to minister to needy families. We need people to come with us to not only help deliver the much needed physical aid, but also to help meet the spiritual needs of the children and the families.” Zook says Containers are on the way to the region in an effort to share the Gospel. “Campus Crusade for Christ definitely is committed to taking the Gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth. As we go into orphanages we have a little tool called the Gospel Bead Bracelet. Bibles lead to church growth in Cambodia. Cambodia (MNN)–Cambodia has a church growth rate of twenty five percent annually. This year, working in conjunction with local churches, the Bible League placed over 65,000 Bibles that established 364 churches. Most of these new converts have learned about the Word of God through small group studies as part of the Bible League’s “Project Philip.” The Bible League is planting an average of seven churches per week in Cambodia. Music, mobility and ministry comes to believers in restricted countries. USA (MNN)–Next, across the 10/40 Window’s unreached areas, there are open doors for outreach. As people come to Christ, they also need to learn how to worship. That’s where Operation Mobilization[5] partner “Heart Sounds International” comes in. Heart Sounds’ Frank Fortunato enables local musicians to record their worship songs. “We’re working in a lot of the restricted nations, and we go to a lot of places where it’s difficult for the believers to either get to a recording studio, or it’s dangerous for them to identify themselves as believers recording their worship songs, or they can’t afford it.” Fortunato recruits a volunteer team of recording engineers to take mobile studios in and pave the way for future ministry. “In many of the places where we have gone, where we find that there are musicians who are capable of handling digital equipment, we will often bring in a complete recording studio and leave it behind for them to use for ongoing projects.” Full Story: http://mnn.gospelcom.net/article/5431

A film assists an international church planting movement. International (MNN)–And, according to the Nazarene church, more than 200 “JESUS” Film[6] teams took part in the church planting strategy this year. These teams committed to starting 10 new mission churches each through the JESUS Film ministry. With the year nearly at an end, the report is over two-thousand new mission churches were planted by the Nazarenes in 2003.
