Farsi speaking people can hear more Gospel radio programming in Iran. Iran (MNN) — Next, a Christian radio ministry is now broadcasting into a country that’s hard to reach with the Gospel. Leading the Way[3] with Doctor Michael Youssef is now broadcasting to the Farsi speaking people. Yesdi Bhada is with Leading the Way. “The Farsi program is specifically for Iran. We want to provide this opportunity to the people to be able to get the Word, and (then) let the Holy Spirit do His job, to get them to listen and to bring in the harvest.” Bhada is hoping many Iranians respond to God’s saving grace. He’s praying for additional funding to expand the outreach. “Right now it’s being transmitted only one time a week. We would like to of course expand that and we’re planning on expanding this program. In March or so we will go to two times a week.” Leading the Way is now broadcasting in five languages. While USA celebrates 100 of flight, mission organization reaches out with hope. USA (MNN) — The United States is celebrating a milestone in transportation — 100 years since the Wright Brothers first airplane flight in North Carolina. JAARS[4] , an organization that speeds Bible translation by providing quality services for Wycliffe Bible Translators and others, is also participating the December 12th through the 17th celebration. JAARS Glenn Ferguson. “Being based in North Carolina for many, many years, we’re part of North Carolina aviation history. And, the North Carolina Department of Transportation asked us to be on display out there and be involved in the celebration. We’re going to be taking one of our Helio Couriers that we used in places around the world to support missions.” Ferguson says they won’t just be displaying their work. “We’ll be out there in a unique situation with aviation people looking at airplanes, but they’ll say, ‘why are you here?’ and we’ll tell them why we’re here and what we do with airplanes. The Chinese utilize radio for discipleship. China (MNN)–Elsewhere, over 900 million Chinese can access Back to the Bible’s systematic teaching of the Word. Through a partnership with Trans World Radio[5] strives to reach the Chinese people with the message of the Gospel. Now entering their tenth year of Mandarin broadcasting, listeners recently ranked the indigenously-produced program as their favorite. EuroTeam members are needed to help churches. Europe (MNN) — And finally, Greater Euope Mission[7] is looking for a few good people to help churches in Europe by joining a “EuroTeam.” A “EuroTeam” is GEM’s gateway to Europe for Christians who want to help European Christians and churches in practical ways. The program can renew passions for mission as they connect with missionaries and national Christians. “EuroTeam” projects include construction, maintenance, office work and teaching English as a second language.
