Fundamentalist Hermeneutics

From a netfriend:

It’s amazing what lengths inerrantists will go to provide false ‘harmonizations’ to the contradictions in the Bible. I don’t know if you’ve read Kathleen C Boone’s book on the topic, but she explained their tendentious approach in this quote: “This stance – any answer will do, so long as it adheres to the inerrancy principle – is frequently found in fundamentalist scholarship.”

Here’s a site which concentrates not on rebutting inerrantists’ claims, but on exposing their faulty methodology: http://www.gastrich.org. It examines one fundamentalist-inerrantist, a ‘Jason Gastrich’ and points out the flaws in his method. It’s a great help!
