An interesting read. Not sure of who is being truthful and who is dishonest. But someone sure is. 🙂

Oh good grief! C*nr*d is notorious. He is completely insane. I mean it. He goes beyond being merely deluded or wrong. There is something seriously wrong with him.
He has found concretions, and years ago a few people took him seriously, and helped explain what he has. His response has been to slander everyone who has tried to help — and I mean some really revolting slimy underhand downright nasty stuff.
He spams all over many newsgroups, spewing the same venomous rubbish. I’d more angry about it if I was not fairly sure he is genuinely sick. Don’t encourage him. It is no kindness to him. You’ll notice that the is also a creationist amongst the people he has sucked into to commenting on his delusions.
Get serious “sinner”. Have a look at the last paragraph you quoted above. The one about a cozy clique and huge salaries.
The darn trouble is — as long as people like Conrad, or Taylor (whom we discussed once in the past as well, remember?)
there will be people who are willing to take it seriously simply because it seems to undercut the unambiguous findings of science, which so many people — like “sinner” — set up as being opposed to religion. But Conrad is no creationist. He is one-of-a-kind.
