From a Usenet post:
“Imagine a world when there are no more crime lords selling prostitutes, selling pornography, selling gambling devices, selling drugs, and stealing from legitimate business.” (Pat Robertson)
After reading this interesting quote of Pat Robertson, do not imagine so fast a world without crime lords selling “gambling devices”. When Pat Robertson pronounced these words, he could have been under an amnesic anointing, unless he was simply controlled by a spirit of deception. Be assured if the Newspapers did not publish this article written by Cal Thomas ” Pat Robertson’s high horse” the gospel businessman would still own commercial stables and thoroughbred racing and breeding stock.
Who will ever know how many men and women have been ruined, losing their houses, cars and all their possessions gambling on the thoroughbred horses of Pat Robertson? Not only that, while Pat Robertson was daily asking hard working Christians to charge they credit cards to send him donations, the anointed businessman bought himself a horse for $520,000 that he named Mr. Pat. Yet feeling absolutely no guilt or shame Pat Robertson was asking us to imagine a world without “crime lords” selling “gambling devices”.
Unfortunately awaken by the horrendous reality of the $520, 000 horse of Pat Robertson, we do not have to imagine a world where fellow Christians are making huge sacrifices to support a so called man of God “fondness for the performance of equine athletes” and for gambling:

However Pat Robertson made an official statement that he would dispose of his “gambling devices”…
