Dear Friends, It saddens me to share with you that Stan Grenz died early Saturday morning. He has been a beautiful example of an intellect devoted to Jesus and his church. For those of us in the postmodern and emergent church, Stan’s absence and leadeship will be noteable. He had given us a language, and a way to connect, with those in and out of the body of Christ. Continue to be in prayer for his wife Edna, and thier family. We now know a few details of what happened. Stan experienced a major brain aneurism in the night and was rushed to ICU. Though kept on a ventilator for some time, there was no brain activity. He was removed from life support and died this morning at 5:00 AM.
