Keeping a Christian Image

By Miss Weisha Lau Chiu Asian Correspondent

Recently I was visiting in Thailand on Church business.

I met the young lady pictured below. She was very proud of being a good Christian (“pride goeth before a fall”).

Being a good Christian, it is so very important, not only to be saved, but also to look like you are saved.

This Thai lady, her name is Guung, was trying extremely hard to keep her Bible in “new” condition.

She didn’t know that if you have a new Bible, and it’s not all tattered and worn, it looks very bad to other Christians.

Your Bible MUST look like it is read everyday! Christian Image is really quite important!

Here, in a few simple steps we’ll show you how to give your Bible that “well read look.”

STEP 1

First, put both of your hands on your Bible and pray that you do the next steps correctly.

STEP 2

Now take your new Bible in both hands, and bend it back and forth on a hard surface, such as a counter or tabletop. This will wrinkle the cover, a very important attribute.

STEP 3

Take your Bible, bang it on a hard surface, hitting all four corners. Repeat this step several times, until you get “That Dog Eared” look.

STEP 4

Take your favorite “Adult Toy” and hit the cover repeatedly, this will make it look like it has been picked up and put down many, many times.

STEP 5

Take every page, one at a time, and bend it back and forth. This adds wear to the pages.

Now you have a Bible that any Christian can carry with distinction!

Be careful that no one steals your Christian Bible!

If they steal it, read it, and believe it, they will be forgiven!
