Seen in a serious scandinavian document, supposedly written in “American English” (if there is such a thing):

“Remount the plate and screw it up.”

“Cheque the supply voltage, using a voltmeter.”

“If not fit the standby battery rack, continue with this installation procedure, that is Section 5 on page 38.” (just in case I can’t remember which page I am reading)

“Execute OMT2.EXE on the laptop PC. If nothing happens within five minutes, the computer may have hanged itself.” (Know how it feels, working for that company 😉
