TODAYS RIDDLE:

Sergi and Sally where sitting in their family room one night.
While Sergi was watching TV his wife Sally was reading. All
of a sudden the power went out and Sergi decided to go to
bed, but Sally kept on reading. With no use of artificial
light, Sally kept on reading. How?

Sally was blind… she was reading a book in braille.

“The father was very proud when his son went off to college.
He came to tour the school on Parents’ Day and observed
his son hard at work in the chemistry lab.

“What are you working on?” he asked.
.
“A universal solvent,” explained the son, “a solvent that’ll
dissolve anything.”

The father whistled, clearly impressed, then wondered aloud,
“What’ll you keep it in?”

A little girl: was talking to her teacher about whales.

The teacher: said it was physically impossible for a
whale to swallow a human because even though it
was a very large mammal its throat was very small.

The little girl: stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.

Irritated, the teacher: reiterated that a whale could not
swallow a human; it was physically impossible.

The little girl: said, “When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah”.

The teacher: asked, “What if Jonah went to hell?”
.
The little girl: replied, “Then you ask him”.

As the police officer helped the bruised young man from
the pavement, he asked, “Sir, can you describe the man
who beat you?”

“Of course,” he said through several missing teeth.
“In fact, that’s what I was doing when he slugged me!”

When I was a child I remember my Mom telling me,
“Son, when you grow up, you can marry any girl you
please.”

When I became a young man, I learned the fallacy of
that was that I could not please any of them.
