Greek Interlinear Website

From a pastor-friend:

Hi all,

I was wanting to introduce a Bible Study group to the challenges in Bible Translation after taking some questions on the merits of different translations of the Bible. I was going to dust off my old Greek / English Interlinear, photocopy a few verses and get the group to write their own translation based on English “word for word” from the Greek. (I used Matthew 7:7-11 and it was a very good exercise as folk grappled with the problems of translation from one language into another and confronting the basic issue of translation; go for “word for word” or a more dynamic approach.)

I was unable to find my trusty Interlinear so I searched the web and came up with this site : http://www.scripture4all.org It has a free download of a very powerful and sophisticated Interlinear translations. For example, clicking on any Greek word brings up a searchable list of all verses where the same word is used.

You may find it of interest.
