A Ten-Point Success Plan

Success gurus attract many followers (and bulk loot) with their special philosophies, but here’s a time-tested, ten-point program based on love and respect, with each point overlaying the one before it.

1.. Put God first in everything and he will ensure that you won’t miss out.

2.. You can have a dynamic, creative relationship with him that is far greater than set images, ideas or rituals.

3.. God’s name is a powerful prayer or blessing. Don’t waste that power with cursing.

4.. A weekly worship break clarifies your perspective and recharges your spiritual batteries.

5.. Honour your parents and past generations. Your past can’t change, but your future overflows with exciting possibilities.

6.. Life is sacred. Enhance your life – and others’ – with healthy attitudes, speech and habits.

7.. Because life is sacred, our sexual drive matures best within a committed, respectful and stimulating marriage.

8.. Respect others’ property. Develop your self-worth, confidence and patience by acting on your own God-given opportunities.

9.. Free your thoughts and conversation of slander, sarcasm and gossip, to give any targets of this negative talk the time and space to grow to maturity.

10.. Working to achieve what you want helps you learn the value of family and possessions, and the time taken to achieve them. Just wishing for stuff only feeds self-pity or greed.

Achieve More Than You Can Imagine!

“More than you can imagine!”
Colac’s new slogan – from the bible! “God’s power in us can do far more than we can imagine!” (Ephesians 3:20) For God provides three key factors that transform dreams into reality:

1.. Releasing our dreams into God’s plan raises them to humanly impossible levels, which gives God room to move:

a.. removing any fear, revenge, bitterness or greed from our motives;

b.. softening resistance or restrictions from opponents as we also respect their concerns;

c.. revealing his wider resources.

d.. helping us see bigger results from achieving our dreams.

2. Our embracing God’s plan will release his love’s infinite power – even greater than death. And plugging ourselves into this power supply makes our dreams inevitable, however long they take to be fulfilled.

3. These steps introduce us to God’s intimate provision, which focuses his limitless resources on the specific needs related to fulfilling our dreams. Intimacy also underlines the maturing relationship that God builds with us along the way, so we forget about expecting him to pull off spectacular events for their own sake – or for our sake! It also makes us easier to live with during the process and afterwards.

Inspiring products result from combining impossible plans and infinite power with intimate provision; but sustained results require every factor. Just as in multiplication, if a zero appears anywhere, from our ignoring any of these factors, our dreams remain unfulfilled.

Yet God trusts us enough to provide each factor for every dream we have.
