I found this on the Fun Mansion website when looking for some jokes. Obviously American dollars, but puts petrol prices into perspective. Our fuel prices in Oz aren’t so bad after all. The equivalent of $A2.50 per litre in the UK when ours was $1.30.

A side effect of the recent tragedies are the sky rocketing gas prices. A minor inconvenience for those of us that still have a home, still have our “normal” way of life and still have our lives. To help keep some humorous sanity in the recent situation, here’s a funny look at comparing some normal commodities if we were to buy them by the gallon.
