It seemsd that you have swallowed creationist writings asserting that science is only about experiments, not about observing things and happenings in the universe around us.
Try getting hold of some non-creationist books about science and reading them.
Not ones by philosophers on the philosophy of science – with rare exceptions philosophers don’t know enough science to comment about it.
If you are prepared to do a lot of work, the three volumes “A Scientific Theology” by Alister McGrath give and introduction to what science is all about.
Or you could try feeding teh phrase “criticial realism” into Google and seeing what comes up.
