Discrimination/persecution

I wrote:

However – and here let’s take the example of Indonesia, a Muslim-majority country but not an ‘Islamic state’ – the slaughter of Christians by folks who’d _like_ that country to be an Islamic state is probably currently second highest in the world (guess the first 🙂

P.S. Sudan

Another (Brit) responded: Yes, good point. I see a rather similar pattern emerging in the US, amongst those who’d *like* the country to be a fundamentalist Christian state. Sure, outright slaughter doesn’t happen, but it’s quite possible to make life almost impossible for those who don’t conform, by controlling state institutions.

An American responded:

Wow. Show me where these state institutions are in the US that are Christian-operated? I see absolutely NONE whatsoever.

When the schools bar Christians from having a mode of expression within the schools, then INVITE the Tibetan Lamas to pray a blessing over same schools, I would say THAT is discrimination against Christians.

And it happened HERE in my town.
