China may be lambasted for its censorship and lack of religious freedom, but take a look at the following comparison that makes for interesting reading.

Below are the most common English words that appear within the pages of the first 10 Google listings from the respective nations when carrying out a search using the term to describe the body of Christ – the Church.

China:

believe bible called canada capital catechism catholic christ christian christianity christians death earth edit enemies english events friends god god’s good government guilty jesus justice k.geffert law links moderator moral nation peace peacemaker penalty presbyterian public punishment read relationship religion republican response sin temple tom war water way wikipedia world

Most commonly used term: Jesus

US:

0 advertising billboards bold boston bring click cross d design dogs ebay evening experience faith filed film fm food glide grace henderson hendricks holiness i’m it’s kevin lent listing magazine marketing mcpassion mehta methodist mondays newsletter parish pew pews poll putting results seen staff sucks technology that’s they’re trackback trinity

Most commonly used term: marketing

Interestingly in the US results, neither “Jesus” or “Christ” appear in the list, but is instead topped by “marketing”.
