One of the pernicious effects of the system of dhimmitude is that dhimmi religious groups adopt the survival strategy of espousing enmity against other non- Muslims. This is a response to the terror-inducing threat of jihad.

As an example, it was Catholic Christians who first translated the Protocols of the Elders of Zion into Arabic.

Some of the more grotesque examples of this manifestation of dhimmitude come from the present-day Palestinian Church.
