I am reminded of a story told by a Roman Catholic priest working in Indonesia, when someone came to him from a meeting, and reported in great excitement that at the meeting at last all the Christians had managed to agree on a common course of action.
“What did you agree on?” asked the priest.
“We agreed to go and burn down the mosque.”
