Sudanese Christians have requested our prayers for a female MBB who has not been seen for some months.

The story beings in March 2006 when the lady, Shiraz, fled from her family due to being abused in the home because of her decision to follow Jesus. In May an Episcopalian priest and four others were arrested and accused of kidnapping her. In response, Shiraz reported to a police station in Khartoum, stating that she had not been kidnapped. The authorities released the priest and the four others, and took Shiraz back to her family. Sudanese Christians have not been seen or heard from her since.

Sudanese Christians supporting this couple request our prayers that the Good Shepherd will:

a. Keep our sister-in-Christ safe

b. Grant wisdom to Sudanese Christians in knowing how to continue their search for her

c. Soften the family’s attitude by His love

d. Ensure that the Sudanese authorities act justly concerning this family
