Ken Smith and Creation/Evolution/Intelligent Design

I wrote:

If you want an interesting 50 or so articles on creationism, evolution, and Intelligent Design, put the words evolution Ken Smith into the search this site facility at the left-hand side of our frontpage. Dr Ken Smith (retired) was a professor of mathematics at the University of Queensland, and is probably Australia’s best-informed `evangelical critic’ of the methodologies and claims of Creationism and Intelligent Design.

That should read “senior lecturer”, Rowland.

And thank you for your comments, even though I’m not sure that I would really be the `best-informed’ Australian among all the evangelical critics of creationism and ID. There’s a lot of stuff on ISCAST’s website critical of creationism – see http://www.iscast.org.au

To another poster:

You might like to start with Rowland’s site and then try http://www.maths.uq.edu.au/~kgs and continue after you get the official warning that the University takes no responsibility about what’s on my personal page. This contains, among other things, my own individual Credo, and assorted stuff on various things I’ve been interested in over the years.

Dr Ken Smith – Christian, husband, unpaid mathematician, skeptic, … `Don’t you believe it.’ said the pilot. `I’ll make a rude suggestion quick enough as soon as I think you want to hear it.’ He took her hand. `But I don’t think you do.’ Peter Marshall in Neville Shute’s “Pastoral”
