#1 >> Good morning. How many of you have lost some sleep watching the World Cup Soccer? I had a novel idea about all that this week. It’s a shame 22 grown men have to chase just one ball: why don’t we provide each team with their own ball? Both can be kicked around between the teams at the same time. It would be much more exciting, though I guess the referees have a difficult enough job as it is! #2 I second your idea of having TWO soccer balls!

#3 A better suggestion would be to link soccer with a more interesting activity, say rugby league.

Play both games together on the same field at the same time. The soccer game could proceed at 90 degrees to the rugby game, each game with its own separate referee.

Linking the games in this way would ensure media coverage and introduce new and exciting elements.
