From a friend:
The Billy Madison version.
For those of you who haven’t seen it, Billy Madison (Adam Sandler) is a goofy 30 year old heir to a fortune who has to go back to complete every year of school to earn the right to run his dad’s company. At this stage he’s in 3rd grade, and has made a 3rd grader friend named Ernie.
Billy Madison: What’re you doing there buddy? You in love with the wall or something?
Ernie: I had a little accident.
Billy Madison: What do you mean you had an accident? (sees Ernie’s wet pants) Eeuww! Alright little buddy hold on there.
(Wets his own pants at the faucet, then walks out into the group)
3rd Grader: Hey look everybody, Billy peed his pants.
Billy Madison: Of course I peed my pants, everyone my age pees their pants. It’s the coolest.
3rd Grader: Really?
Billy Madison: YES. You ain’t cool, unless you pee your pants.
3rd Grader: Hey look, Ernie peed his pants too. Alright!
Old Farm Lady: If peeing in your pants is cool, consider me Miles Davis.
A friend of mine uses this as an example of transformative nonviolence and solidarity with the oppressed in his school seminars sometimes…works a treat.
