If anyone wants to follow the ID story further, the NCSE web site (feed NCSE into your favourite search engine) has transcripts of the evidence presented at the ID case mounted against the Dover High School Board at the end of 2005, and Judge Jones’ findings (nearly 140 pages long, but worth reading) that ID is religion and not science.

There are also a number of books which have appeared this year about the case. One has the title “Forty Days and Forty Nights” taken from an exchange in the last few minutes of the case.
