Because our conversations can’t apparently be civil, it is not helpful for us to continue talking past each other, IMO. So I won’t be reading or responding directly to any of your posts here on arc.

If you regard this as a victory, I’m happy for you.

If you interpret this as running away from an ‘argument’, you’re right. All that I would say about the topics of our posts I’ve already said – they’re on our website for anyone who really wants to know.

I have too many others who are asking for help at the moment.

I’ll be posting an article soon on three types of sinners: we belong (I believe) to different categories of sinners, which might explain to others why ‘talking past each other’ on these newsgroups happens…

Why wait for 12 years for this? I was ‘spoken to’ by James (chapter 4 in The Message) this morning: ‘Don’t bad-mouth each other. It is God’s Word, his Message, his Royal Rule, that takes a beating in that kind of talk. You’re supposed to be honoring the Message, not writing graffiti all over it. God is in charge of deciding human destiny. Who do you think you are to meddle in the destiny of others?’
