The full text for the State of the Climate report by the NOAA is available at http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/bams-state-of-the-climate/2009.php
They produce a report each year, however this is the most in depth and comprehensive report to date with contributions from more than 300 scientists from 160 research groups in 48 countries.
There’s also a 10 page ‘highlights’ document available for download on the same site if you don’t feel like reading the full 218 pages.
The Australian Academy of Science also recently released a very clear and concise Q&A on the science of climate change. The publication is available for download in high or low resolution at:

Both publications listed above have been prepared by reputable, independent organisations employing highly qualified experts in the field of climate science.
