Islam and Jihad: Does Islam have a plan to take over the world?

Someone sent me this, and as I’m not an expert in this area, got a bit of advice from a couple of scholars…

Their combined opinion: Not all these benchmarks are accurate, but the principle that Islam only reveals its doctrine of jihad and desire for political control as it becomes more powerful is true, and solidly based upon the teachings of the Qu’ran.

The precise stages would depend in part upon context specific cultural and historical factors.

This website is committed to ‘pro and con’ presentations of controversial points of view, so I’d hope for some scholarly counters to these ideas, and if they’re credible (rather than merely angry) I’ll add to this article…

ISLAM IN A NUTSHELL. ADAPTED FROM DR. PETER HAMMOND`S BOOK: SLAVERY, TERRORISM AND ISLAM: THE HISTORICAL ROOTS AND CONTEMPORARY THREAT.

Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is a
complete, total, 100% system of life. Islam has religious, legal, political,
economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a
beard for all of the other components.

Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to
agitate for their religious privileges. When politically correct, tolerant,
and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious
privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well. Here`s
how it works:

As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given
country, they will be for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving
minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:

United States 0.6%, Australia 1.5%, Canada 1.9%, China 1.8%, Italy 1.5%, Norway 1.8%.

At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and
disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among
street gangs. This is happening in:

Denmark 2/%, Germany 3.7%, United Kingdom 2.7%, Spain 4%, Thailand 4.6%.

From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their
percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the
introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing
food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on
supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves along with threats for
failure to comply. This is occurring in:

France 8%, Philippines 5%, Sweden 5%, Switzerland 4.3%, The Netherlands 5.5%, Trinidad & Tobago 5.8%.

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to
rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic law. The
ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase
lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris, we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action offends Islam and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam, with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam. Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections in:

Guyana 10%, India 13.4%, Israel 16%, Kenya 10%, Russia 15/%.

After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia
formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and
Jewish synagogues, such as in:

Ethiopia 32.8%.

At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in:

Bosnia 40%, Chad 53.1%, Lebanon 59.7%.

From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic
cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia law as a weapon, and Jizya, the tax
placed on infidels, such as in:

Albania 70%, Malaysia 60.4%, Qatar 77.5%, Sudan 70%.

After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run
ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the
infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and in some ways is on-going in:

Bangladesh 83%, Egypt 90%, Gaza 98.7%, Indonesia 86.1%, Iran 98%, Iraq 97%, Jordan 92%, Morocco98.7%, Pakistan 97%, Palestine 99%, Syria 90%, Tajikistan 90%, turkey 99.8%, United Arab emirates 96%.

100% will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ — the Islamic House of
Peace. Here there`s supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in:

Afghanistan 100%, Saudi Arabia 100%, Somalia 100%, Yemen 100%.

Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most
radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by
killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons.

“BEFORE I WAS NINE, I HAD LEARNED THE BASIC CANON OF ARAB LIFE. IT WAS ME AGAINST MY BROTHER; ME AND MY BROTHER AGAINST OUR FATHER; MY FAMILY AGAINST MY COUSINS AND THE CLAN; THE CLAN AGAINST THE TRIBE; THE TRIBE AGAINST THE WORLD, AND ALL OF US AGAINST THE INFIDEL. –LEON URIS, ‘THE HAJ’.”

In general what Hammond is asserting is correct. I can’t independently validate the correlations he makes for each percentage in each country, but in general his observation is correct.

The objectives and the methodology seldom change.

Here is a quote from my next publication “The Challenge of Islam” which ought to be out in a month or so.

Muhammad Taqi Usmani, deputy chair of the Islamic Fiqh (Jurisprudence) Academy of the OIC who presided for 20 years as a Sharia judge on Pakistan’s Supreme Court reportedly advised Muslims that while they were in the minority in any country they “must live in peace until strong enough to wage jihad (holy war).”

By the first decade of the twenty-first century there were at least 20 million Muslims in Europe. The inevitable outcome was predicted decades ago. In 1974 Houri Boumediene as Chairman of the Revolutionary Council of Algeria stated in the United Nations General Assembly:

“One day millions of men will leave the southern hemisphere of this planet to burst into the northern one. But not as friends. Because they will burst in to conquer, and they will conquer by populating it with their children. Victory will come to us from the wombs of our women.”

Thirty two years later Muammar al-Qaddafi as leader of Libya, within the context of demographic trends, confirmed Boumediene’s prediction. He is reported as claiming “There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe–without swords, without guns, without conquests…Europe will turn into a Muslim continent within a few decades.”

Mullah Krekar of Kurdish origin but living in Norway became more mathematically specific. He is reported as saying, “Every Western woman in the EU is producing an average of 1.4 children. Every Muslim woman in the same countries is producing 3.5 children. By 2050 30% of the population in Europe will be Muslim.”

No nation is overlooked. With Australia in mind British based Sheik Abdul Raheem Green reportedly “…forbad Muslims from having fewer than four children…So Australia would become an Islamic state…Islamise Australia through a Muslim baby boom.”

When comments of similar import are made over decades by national leaders, Islamist Sheiks and average citizens and this is increasingly supported wherever reliable statistics are available, the significance of the claims needs to be taken seriously.

Usmani’s advice is particularly noteworthy. Having been a supreme court judge for 20 years and in recognition of that to be elected to Islam’s peak international body.the OIC [Organisation of Islamic Conference] he knows what he is talking about. Of course he is speaking openly to an Islamic constituency. Seldom does one hear such openness in other forums. This is an application of what is called the Doctrine of Taquiyya ie dissimulation or deception to protect the religion or individuals until in a stronger position.

And just in (October 2010)

The concerns of a lawyer.

I have a school friend who works as a barrister in the Old Bailey in London. He told me of how he was recently in conversation with a fellow barrister, a Muslim. He asked him,  ¢â‚¬Å“When you are in the mosque, do you know who the young radicals are or those within the mosque who are likely to drift towards jihadist agendas? ¢â‚¬   ¢â‚¬Å“Oh yes, we know them, but we keep out of their way and don ¢â‚¬â„¢t get involved ¢â‚¬ . My friend asked,  ¢â‚¬Å“So, given your defence of the British justice system in the work you do, have you told anyone at MI5 or the police about your concerns? ¢â‚¬  The man ¢â‚¬â„¢s response was startling.  ¢â‚¬Å“Oh no, we don ¢â‚¬â„¢t do that within our community ¢â‚¬ . Effectively, it would be the betrayal of a fellow Muslim. My friend continued:  ¢â‚¬Å“Do you see the contradiction of working for the British justice system on the one hand and failing to support it on the other? ¢â‚¬  The man had no answer.

Therein lies the dilemma for the Muslim. Loyalty to the community of Islam seems at times to be interpreted as more important than the defence of the potential victims of terrorism. This is of great concern to those who fear for liberal democracies and ought not to be underestimated. The power of group norms to silence those who are otherwise decent people is a well known social psychological phenomenon documented since the days of the Nazis in Germany. And where group norms are reinforced throughout childhood, the effect is even stronger. However, even this common scenario can quickly become a caricature that labels all Muslim communities as potential safe havens for terrorists. If only, through passivity. In recent times a Muslim father of a wannabe terrorist reported his fears over his own son ¢â‚¬â„¢s increasing radicalism. This may give hope that caricatures are often false. Indeed, I wonder if we ought not to let this example shape our views of Muslims more than the predominant media-driven fears. As Christians, we must join with those who protect many of the values of our democracy and resist all narratives that claim power and force as the means to change society. However, we must not be those who are driven by the fears that pervade our culture, particularly in its attitude to Muslims.

  1. This is scary stuff. I’m not sure how you offer Christian love towards Muslims while they have a fanatical approach to take over everything. I think it was tried back at the time Muhammad himself was alive and didn’t work well. Whole countries ‘converted’ to Islam.

  2. My study and recent reading on the spread of Islam agrees with and confirms the points in this article. A study of the Qur’an, teachings of the Prophet Muhammed and the Hadith all support and verify the stratgies that we see applied in the dramatic rise of Islam world wide. As Christians the challenge is to show genuine love towards our Muslim brothers and sisters but at the same time not take a complacent “do nothing” attitude to the increasing threat of Islam to our society and valued way of life.
