90% of males, 80% of females haven’t completed high school;
60% of males 76% of females were unemployed when imprisoned;
Indigenous Australians are 14 times more likely to be imprisoned;
50% of prisoners have two or more ‘social disadvantages’ (homelessness, psych issues, unemployment, intellectual disability etc.);
87% of women were victims of sexual, physical or emotional abuse;
56% have been in prison before…
