I’ve always believed that criticism of cinematic offerings need to also have adjacent suggestions to fill the gap. We know what not to attend , what should we do instead?

Here are 4 excellent ones from international cinema which was shown at my town’s outdoor summer concert series–suitable for whole family. They have wonderful stories & are quality productions.

Children of Heaven –in Farsi, with English subtitles

The King of Masks–in Mandarin, with English subtitles. A little profane language

Shall we Dance? –in Japanese, with English subtitles

Chariots of Fire is an excellent movie with Christian theme–American, Academy Award
