No, Rabbi Brown (G'day Larry!) doesn't normally waste his time on the

BOG = Barry O'Grady, noted atheist, and troller for Christians. Loves
"getting" at religious types. Doesn't like it when I spell G-d. I
suspects thats 'cause he's not sure what goes in the middle.

Philosophically:

The Jewish view of G-d is that He is Infinite - as are all His
attributes. The Hebrew letter for G-d, aleph, is the same for
inifinity. Now if G-d is infinite it become incomprehensible for G-d
to confine Himself in any way, shape or form into the finiteness of
human existence. To put in plainly, You just cannot confine G-d into a
human body, without loosing the concept of the infiniteness of G-d
along the way.

Biblically:

There is no proof that G-d has ever had a physical existence or is
capable of having one. Whilst Jewish mysticism may refer to a man's
soul as the spark of the Al-mighty, no spark could possibly contain
all of a single manifestation (the physical) of G-d without all
mankind being called god.

Pagan mythology on the other hand is full of the physical
manifestations of god and god/human intercourse, virgin mothers and
rebirth after death. All the elements contained within Christianity
that I find to be pagan have their origins in pagan mythology.

What on earth has that go to do with Jews not seeking converts? Did
you feel like throwing that one in for the hell-of-it?

I think more correctly think that Christians have no love in their
hearts when it comes to Jews. Never will either. It was Karl Barth who
said in 1938 (I think) that Christianity finds it very difficult to
extend the Christian principle of love for mankind to the Jew.

We never thought of the possiblity that Jesus was the messiah, and
still don't but we ARE still trying to get over the six million Jews
that Christians killed during the last war. No doubt, you will
conveniently forget that little "detail".
