Up prancer, up dancer, up blitzen and donner
without Christmas Spirit the
seasons a gonner

Up interest, up credit, up stress and great pressure
the cost of the gift
is the unit of measure

Our traditions are lost to the merchantmans greed
with the crumbs from
the table for all those in need

The holly and mistle, the tree evergreen.
The symbols are empty, no one
knows what they mean

So what are we teaching the children were rearing
Merry Business, good
gorging and a Happy new Thiering.
