Ummm...  there were Christians in India before there were Christians in
England or the Americas.  And there were Christians in Palestine before
that.

Christianity isn't a Western religion.  Many Christians live in the West,
but many also live in other places.  Missionaries are often from the West,
but that's mostly a matter of economics: the Western countries have big
economies.

But think back a bit and ask yourself why there are Christians in Europe
and the American.  The answer is that missionaries from the middle east
went out converting people.  St Paul went TO Rome: he wasn't evangelised
by somebody FROM Rome.

What happiness would this be?  My memory is that India and Pakistan were
partitioned into separate countries because the Hindus and the Muslims
hate each other so much they couldn't even share a country.  And if the
Jews and Muslims are so happy, why don't they have a peace agreement yet?
(And why do they *need* a peace agreement?)


Here in the USA, we've got Hindus and Buddhists and Muslims and Jews and
Christians all living side-by-side.  You write that we should first:

A few years ago, a Jewish family in a town near us had their home
vandalised during Hanukka, and a rock thrown through their front window
where they had a menorah.  The next day, just about everybody who lived on
their street went out and bought menorahs to put in their front windows
too.  It turned out that the vandals didn't pick the house because of the
menorah, but just randomly vandalised some homes that night.  But the
random nature of the vandalism wasn't known for a few days, and the
unmistakable show of solidarity -- Christians putting specifically Jewish
symbols in their homes -- is still impressive.


If that's your idea of "lying, cheating, degraded, dilapidated, orgasmic"
people, well, I'm curious to know what country contains people who do any
better.  If a Jewish house in a middle-east country were vandalised during
Hanukka, would all their non-Jewish neighbors buy menorahs?
