This is a story told to me by my mate, Jimmy “Truthful” Jones, at the Bayview Hotel in Melbourne a couple of years ago.
One day at a local minister’s fraternal meeting, the clergy present decided to pray more openly for each other. At one point the Anglican minister confessed of his problem with alcohol. Everyone was rather touched by his candour and so the Catholic minister confessed that he had an addiction to gambling . Then the Baptist minister opnened up about his struggles with pornography. Before long the Pentecostal minister began to come clean about some tax evasion. This only left the Churches of Christ minister. After a brief pause he said: “Well … I don’t know how to say this, but … I have a terrible problem with gossip and I just can’t wait to get out of here!”
