About This Site

Update September 2004: The site has moved to a new address (still hosted generously by Pastornet/ACIS). We had to move to a sub-domain so we could get the statistics program to work. The new address is http://jmm.org.au/. Having the site on a sub-domain also makes the Google search easier (Google searches can only be limited by domain not by folder/directory. Without adding some “tricks” it would search the whole of Pastornet).

Update January 2004: The whole site has been redesigned and is now being generated by an offline MS Access database.

Some of the new features:

  • Article catalog by aurthor
  • Catalog pages are now split over several pages if they are long which makes loading much faster
  • Now using Google search
  • Articles can now belong to multiple sections
  • Site navigation improved

Update December 2002: We’ve had the whole site redesigned (Thanks Dave, Ali and Bradley). We’re still working on some things, so thanks for your patience!

The site is best navigated with a Google bar installed with your browser
(then click on ‘Search Site’)

Disclaimer: The articles mirrored here represent a wide range of view points. (See the Statement of Faith for my position). They are presented in order to provoke thought/discussion, not because I agree with them all! For example, there are some articles by and about John Stott (with whom I substantially agree on most issues) but also a critique of Stott by Bishop Spong (about whose beliefs I have severe reservations). Enjoy browsing with an open mind (then close it on some important basic convictions :-)!

Articles from this site may be borrowed/reproduced without permission, provided they are used in their entirety. Due acknowledgement of the source would be appreciated!

February 9, 1998. A note about this site: you’ll notice there are few or no ‘bells and whistles’. It has no cute Java applets, no strange red print on black background hard-to-read layouts, no frames etc. etc. It’s therefore quick to dowmload, easy on the eyes, easily navigable, and has an automatic publishing system.
