I like some styles better than others, but that’s
not the issue. What sometimes bothers me is that whole pieces
of what I regard as essential pieces of a service go missing sometimes
when it gets non-traditional to an extreme. Like omitting any
reference to the scripture verses known to me as the "words
of institution" in a communion service. I think that’s a
significant omission in that it’s a public affirmation of what
it is that is going on at that moment.
