An observation from experience in different churches most weeks:

Yes there is hypocrisy etc. in the churches – as in all corners of fallen creation. Those who _only_ see the hypocrisy almost certainly have unfinished business in their lives that makes them react so negatively to others – individually or in churches; those who _only_ see saints (‘all his geese were swans’ etc.) are probably too naive for their own good…
