Personal Dedication to Ballarat North Baptist Church

Having received Christ as my Lord and Saviour, and being in agreement with Ballarat North Baptist Church’s vision, doctrinal statement, strategy and structure, I feel led by the Holy Spirit to unite with the Ballarat North Baptist church community. In doing so, with the help of my Lord, I commit myself to do the following:

I will endeavour to protect the unity of this Christian community

By acting in love towards the community and it’s people

By refusing to gossip and by being willing to confront issues which otherwise may result in broken relationships

I will endeavour to promote the growth of this Christian Community

By praying for its growth

By warmly welcoming those who visit church services and other activities

I will endeavour to share in the ministry of this Christian Community

By developing a servant heart

By using my gifts and talents in our Lord’s service

I will endeavour to support the testimony of this Christian Community

By attending faithfully

By living a Godly life

By giving faithfully

I will endeavour to support the leaders of this Christian Community

By praying for them

By supporting and encouraging them

By bringing any concern and criticism directly to them

I will endeavour to support the mission and outreach of this Christian Community

By building relationships with people in the broader community

By seeking ways to share my faith

By taking an interest in cross-cultural mission
