UNIVERSALISM: WILL GOD EMPTY HELL?
Here’s a pot pourri of quotes on this theme. You decide!

DELETED POT POURRI <—— WOW! Spelt that right. I always thought it
‘pot phew-wee’ ;-]
Rowland,
Just to muddy the waters, I’m curious about why you bother with this
‘here’s some quotes – take yer pick’ approach to posting? I notice you
imply a degree of ‘frustration?’ with the subject (Here we go again) – I
can almost hear the sigh ;-), but why merely add to confusion by posting a
scope of views that range from ‘black’ to ‘white’ with no real benefit of
your years of experience and thinking? I tend to skip your ‘here’s a bunch
of quotes’ stuff because at the end of the day, it’s a bunch of quotes –
predominantly with people we are unable to interact with. How about a “For
What It’s Worth” summary at the end?
Good pedagogy is teaching one another _how_ to think not _what_ to think..
But for what it’s worth the ultra-Fundamentalist’s God who seems to enjoy
the tortures of his creatures forever in hell – that God is my devil…
However there is a reality in Jesus’ teaching that we cannot evade with
slick conservatism (as C S Lewis tried to do) or with a permissive universalism…
Now you’re absolutely clear… Good. (Frankly, I think God can handle all
this without our help. And God has more forgiving grace operating than the
prodigal’s father).
Regards
Dave
