If we are going to start putting flame-filled topics off limits, why
not include ACSIT, inerrancy, Baptism by immersion, Christianity vs
Judaism, and the perfect life and writings of the blessed and holy
Fathers.

Rather than put _any_ topics 'off limits', I would rather that people
conducted their conversations here with mutual respect and a
willingness to hear and evaluate the opinions of others, even when
they challenge or contradict our own experience, faith, world view and
sexual preference.

IMHO the problems are not caused by the subjefcts we discuss, but the
attitudes we bring to those discussions. In a nutshell, if you are
completely sure that you are correct and have nothing to learn from
anyone here, then you probably would be better off putting your views
on a website and leaving the newsgroups alone. You will only cause
yourself and other people untold grief here.

cheers
