George MacDonald wrote about a little girlwho believed she had committed the Sin Against the Holy Ghost because she had misused a pin while dressing herself. But according to MacDonald, Jesus would not have condescended to her by correcting her theology. He would have said, ‘Your sin is forgiven. Go and sin no more.’
