After posting regularly to many newsgroups for about seven years I’ve learned to be discriminating: you can tell by the subject and/or poster’s name whether it’s worth reading…

However: as Confucius say, why not light a candle rather than curse the darkness? Start a discussion about something interesting and you’ll get mixed responses, but learn to flow with that…
